MACH RACING TEAM RULES FOR TOURNAMENTS AND EVENTS
(subject to change, these rules are general and may be overridden by the host of a series)
1.ROUGH DRIVING :: all drivers must look out for yourself and others when driving so no taking each other out or yourself.
1(a)If you have a run to make a pass let the driver know where you are making the pass so no wrecking will occur.
1(b) If you spin out please state that you have spun so we can cleanly go by. In case of a wreck please be kind and move it out of the way of others.
2.BUMPING AND HITTING :: all drivers please be safe entering turns and exiting turns.
2(a) If you take out a person or slam into the back of him (making no attempt to avoid them) you will be Penalized. (This will be judged by the Session Host. If it is determined it was done on purpose, than he/she will announce the penalty)
2(b) If it happens again you will disqualified from the series. SEE COMPLAINTS SECTION BELOW
2(c) Bump drafting is ok but if it gets bad where you spin the person out, you must stop and and give the position back (no matter how many other drivers pass you).
3. GRID ORDER and QUALIFYING Grid order will now be determined on your fast lap in qualifying.
3(a) Qualifying will happen the time the event starts. if more than 16 people show up we will split the lobby evenly into two lobbies (A and B) The top HALF lap times will be considered PRO (A LOBBY) the bottom HALF Lap times will be in the B Lobby. (Subject to change)
3(b) The Finishing position for LOBBY B will pick up where lobby A stops. Example : Last place in Lobby A is 6th .. than Lobby B's First Place is actually 7th.
4.Pre-Race Lobby and HOST - When host is speaking please stand by while he is setting up for the event. We do not need everyone talking when he is setting up the grid and no one can hear him. If you do not hear him please say 'quite please' so we can here. If any questions please contact host before the ready up.
5.EVENTS AND LAPS - Events will be as detailed as possible when posted to the forums or event calendar. Please contact the Series Host for more more information if you cannot find an answer.
6.COMPLAINTS - If you have a issue with another driver being dirty or took you out on a pass let us know.
8(a)In a event of blocking, taking you out or just being dirty a protest will be involved.
8(b) The Session Host always saves the REPLAY. If there was an issue regarding contact or unsporting conduct, it will be reviewed. If the reviewer feels it was intentional, the driver will be Disqualified from the race (and/or series).
7.CUTTING CORNERS / CUTTING THE TRACK If you are caught cutting the track to gain position (first Offense) you will get a warning. [2nd offense] Drive Through Penalty next race. [3rd Offense] DQ'd from Series. If you are caught cutting the track multiple times, you will be BANNED from the club. so don't cut the track.
8: RESTARTS due to accidents [NEW]: A Race Restart will occur if 2 or more cars are wrecked within the first 4 laps. Only 1 restart will occur. When the accident is called, all drivers must come to a complete stop. The Host will then write down the GRID order based on where all of the drivers are. The drivers involved in the accident will move to the back of the grid during the restart. The Restart will be a Rolling start, double file (staggered), and the Pole Sitter will choose which Lane he/she wants to start from, Odd numbers start on his/her side and Even number are in the other Lane. Any accidents after the restart will NOT have a new restart.
9: CAUTIONS [NEW]: Our club does NOT use cautions. A Host of a series can change this rule at will. All wrecks outside of the restart window can choose to pit or continue. If a pit is taken outside of the Pit Window, it does not count as your mandatory pit.
10: PITTING [NEW]: Every Race, if available, will have a Mandatory Pit Window. You MUST pit between the pit window. Failure to Pit will result in disqualification. Pitting before or after the Pit Window does not count as a mandatory pit. Please call out your gamertag and announce a PIT IN and a PIT EXIT. (ex. "Sharper in the Pits", "Sharper Pit Out")
11: Slower Cars/Lapped Cars [NEW]: Lapped cars must yield to cars passing on the lead lap. Please move off of the racing line. Drivers lapping a car should communicate that they are about to pass. The Driver of the passing car can determine where they are passing (ex. "sharper, i'm passing you on the left.) It is the responsibility of BOTH drivers to communicate this correctly. Incidents involving a lapped car with lead lap car will be reviewed. If it is determined the lapped car caused a wreck, he/she will be disqualified from the race and will receive no points. Please communicate.
12: Points System for Forza Events and series [NEW]: See the stickied topic in the "Mach Racing News and Info" section. (This can be changed by the Series Host s needed)
