Pre-lobby Procedures and Other information

Please reply below saying you have read and understand this information.

PRE-RACE LOBBY PROCEDURE
The last few weeks have cause us a considerable amount "wait-time".  These new pre-lobby procedures are being put in place to avoid the long waits. Read below (this will be posted in the Regulations section as well).

1. PRE-LOBBY All members will invited to the Pre-Race lobby at 6:15pm.  DO NOT try to join up without an invite. One of the main causes of wait-time is due to everyone trying to join at once.  You will be invited 1 at a time, please be patient. A few members can not make it at 6:15pm ET, that is fine. We will pick you up before starting qualifying.

--ALL PRACTICE RACES WILL END PROMPTLY AT 6:15pm / 11:15PM UK. Any member having issues joining the Pre-Race lobby will have to wait until after qualifying (at 6:30p) to try an join again. They will not have the option to qualify.

2. Qualifying: As Normal. After qualifying, any member who still wants to join the lobby will have the chance. CURRENTLY UNDER REVIEW. Due to lobby issues, we will be changing the qualifying rules.

3. Race #1: As Normal

4. -Re-Ordering the Grid.  We will back out of the lobby, set up a new 1 LAP race to re-order the Grid (Reverse order).  Everyone should ready up. The car and track do not matter for this.  We will use the shortest track possible. Members who missed race 1 will have the chance to join in for race #2 (if possible).

5. Race #2: As Normal

OTHER INFORMATION
I have noticed over the last 3 BTCC races that a few members seem to ask a few questions that are referenced in the Rules-Regualtions section, and or other STICKIED topics for BTCC.  Do not expect and answer to these questions. It is your responsibility to know all of the details posted about the race.

Also.  I strongly suggest putting in at least 30 minutes worth of practice during the week to get to know your Braking Points, Lines, etc.  Check the leaderboard to see how you fair against everyone else. Jump into a practice lobby with a friend and try to push each other.  Too many incidents are being caused by poor judgment in braking and speed through a corner.  Do not be shy, it is only a game :)

I want everyone to have fun. Anyone who knows me, knows that I apologize WAY TOO MUCH for wait times and incidents (even if it is not my fault).  I hate to see people sitting out of a race while everyone else is enjoying themselves.  Please do your best to be up-to-speed (pun intended) with Rules/Regs, Practice and Lobby procedures.

your friendly neighborhood sharper-man

I'm just posting to get Sharper off my back... didn't actually read it all word-for-word... kidding, I read it. All sounds good, just hope I can make more races this season. Really enjoy this series. Cars are very well balanced and we always get a good sized lobby.

ILMC : #51 AF Corse Ferrari 458

BTCC : #12 Liqui Molly BMW

read and understood, but with an addition, invite bullet, namdac, tactical mess first. as the 2nd btcc race they got in when nobody else were in the lobby. and then it worked fine. just my 2 cents Smile

oh, and me Smile

edit, normally me and dave are on about 2 hours before running practise runs/lap times. so if you want to jump in to see if there is any conflict before hand then carry on Smile

Planned on that. I've sent Bullet a message letting him know he will be first in the lobby.  Namdac on the other hand, doesn't usually get on until a few minutes before.

Nat was closed

Glad you have that sorted.  If anyone hasn't opened their NAT setting, do it.  Google search "Xbox, open NAT" and you'll find a lot of walkthrough's.

BTW, Virtual Motorsports requires it open.  (i use them as an example because they host a ton of races (multi-lobby) and they have it down to a science (for the most part)

I have read and understand the above regulations - let them be cast in stone that all others may follow the path of clean and enjoyable race nights cheeky
