A few members have contacted me regarding "quitting races". Here is my response for everyone:
As a group, we spoke about DNF's (quitting) getting 0 points (no credit) for the race. Which seems completely fair.
Recent members have brought up, banning these people from the series (if it is a series) ... This will NOT happen. If someone has to leave a race, for whatever reason, I am not going to stop them from signing up for the next one.
***If it is the same person quitting week in and week out, then there is an issue.
---This seems to be in regards to people quitting half way through a race. And not in regards to people signing up, but not showing up. I know everyone has a REAL life, and I am not going to penalize you for it. If you can't make the race, you can't make it::: No harm done.
I really want people to come out to these events, the more the better. I would LOVE if everyone would finish the event though. If there is a SLIGHT chance of you not being able to finish..please do not sign up for that event.
