Well am looking to host a world touring car chamionship that will take place on friday 10gmt. the race will confind of tuned cars that i have made the builds for. however they will be opned so that a driver can fine tune them if neccesary.

The series

the series will now follow the current btcc way of three races per night. first race will be qualfying order, next race will be the 1st race finishing order, then the third race will be reverse finshing order of race 2. each race will take roufly 20 minutes to complete if all goes smoothly. the cars will be the Ford Sierra Cosworth, BMW M3 336, Mercedes 190e, Audi s4 00, Volvo 242 and the lotus carlton. iv tested out all cars for hours and have got them all to be 5 tenths of each other on high to low speed tracks

Qualyfying

qualfying will happen the day before the race and will be a 30 minute session . there will also be a 15 mintue qualyfying just before the race for those who cant make it. only the fastest clean laps will count. if your lap is dirty then itl be placed after the slowest clean lap. collisons will be off so there will be no interfernce. if we have more than one lobby, it dosent matter which room you qulafy in as you will be placed in order of what time you get for the race.

Race

Each race will take 20 minutes resulting in ahour in total. in each race you will have to make a mandotory pit. this pit cant be made in the first 5 minutes of the race and the last 5 minutes of the race. the race will start from a standing start. if you have a poor start please do not excesivly weave from side to side to block. one weave is allowed coming to the first corner. in the race you are allowed to defend you position but you cannot weave more than once on a braking zone. (like formula 1 rules). replays will be saved and wacthed to look for corner cutting, racng incadents and other things to ensure everything was fair and clean. if i see something ilegal or  wrong in the reply, penalties such has grid place drops adnf ines will be imlplacated

Racing Incadents

if there happens to be a crash then please stae where how and who you crashed with. if you have crashed by yourself  or on your own accord then the race will ressume. if there is a crash between two or more cars, then we will have a caution.If it is a minor bump, keep racing, if we get a major crash at the front of the field (impeding the rest of the field) OR an accident with a roll over/major crash, those involved or nearby should say they need a caution. Not everyone can see what is going on all the time, so you need to call it out. And DO call out the caution, it gets everyone caught up again and makes for better racing and strategy.

If a caution is called, the field is frozen in the positions you are at immediately after the scene of the accident. Everyone then continues at a somewhat reduced pace to the start/finish line and slows down to 70 mph after crossing the line. It is essentially a local yellow until you reach the line, so no passing and slow down a little, but go to the start line. The leader will complete two full laps of the track under caution. When the caution is called, you cannot pit that lap, you have to wait until the next lap (the first full lap while under caution) to make your mandatory pit. Cars heavily damaged in the wreck can stop on the lap before the first full lap under caution, but it WILL NOT COUNT AS THE MANDATORY PIT STOP. Those in the wreck should catch up to the back of the field, then make the mandatory pit stop.

If coming into the pits, stick to the inside lane, if you are staying out, stay on the outside line.

Other Rules

if you happen to be getting laped, then it is your duty to let the leader past, contact between leaders and lapped cars will be heavily reviewd. damage will be set to simulation for both qualyfying and races. collisions will be set to always on so if you  stop on track you wont turn to ghost. so please if you do stop, drive way out of the way on to the grass. when you are pitting please stae you have done so by simply saying pit in, and pit out whenyou are leaving so that a car can easily know there will be a slow car leaving the pit lane. on certain track on forza they have a white line on pit out. on these tracks you must stay within this white line(this will be made clear before each race). failure to do so will result in a mandotory 2 place grid penalty.if you happen to be unhappy with your car choice, you are alowed to chnage only once, and this is once betwen both cataorys of cars. am going to limit 3 of the same amount of cars to be run so am afraid it will be first come first serve on car choices. if yiu change in the first two races then your points wil stay the same, anytime after that will result in a points drop.

Point system

The point system that will be used is 1st-50   2nd-47  3rd-45  4th-43  5th-41 etc  1st will have a 3 points lead from 2nd then the rest will have a two point gap. if there happens to be a tie at the end of the championship then the person with the most wins will take that position. if thats the same then the most 2nd places will take and so on andd so on. if it happens to be the same down the last positions then itl be whoever had the most poles or highest qualyfication.

Lag/connectivity:
If you lag out, you automatically get points for the last finishing position in that lobby (e.g. If you are in room one and lag out, you get points for 8th). Please make sure your router is set to "Open." also tunr off any wirless devices such as laptops as dis can create lag to other olayers. also its benefical to be wired to ensure you dont lag out in a race
